MetLife Dental DHMO Plan

This lower-cost dental plan covers cleanings, X-rays, crowns and more. When you enroll in this plan, you select a participating dentist from the MetLife network directory to manage your care. Each enrolled member may select a different participating dentist. Your primary care dentist also helps coordinate specialty care for you. There are no charges for most preventive services, no claim forms and no deductibles. Reduced, pre-set charges (copayments) apply to services.

MetLife Dental PDP Plan

This plan offers you the flexibility to choose your dentist, in or out of network. When you visit a dentist in MetLife’s network of providers, you’ll save money by maximizing your benefits. If you visit a dentist who is out-of-network, your benefit will be based on the Usual and Customary (U&C) allowance for the dental procedure performed. You’ll be responsible for any charges over the Usual and Customary allowance, in addition to portion of the coinsurance.
